Description
This shiur continued mitzva 95 (paragraphs 4-7 in Sefaria ed.) - recognizing the Divine goodness in mitzvos in general and the opportunity that they offer us, and specifically how the pure context of mikdash can shape us spiritually. The shiur closed by connecting these general ideas with the specific shorashim of first two mitzvos of Tetzave - hadlakas ha-menora (mitzva 98) and bigdei kehuna (99).
[This shiur is one of a series of weekly 25-minute shiurim on "Mitzva and Meaning", each focussing on the hashkafa behind a mitzva in the parsha, using the Sefer ha-Chinuch as a primary text. These shiurim are shared via conference call on Tuesdays at 12:30 PM (800-747-5150, access 1259096#).]
