Description
This shiur focussed on the opening paragraphs of mitzva 95 (sections 1-3 in Sefaria ed.) - the definition of "beis Hashem" by two purposes, and an appreciation of the vastness of ta`amei ha-mitzvos as a humbling hachana for entering the intellectual world of mikdash ideas.
The next shiur will IYH focus on the specific shorashim of mikdash and korbanos - in the next paragraphs of mitzva 95.
[This shiur is one of a series of weekly 25-minute shiurim on "Mitzva and Meaning", each focussing on the hashkafa behind a mitzva in the parsha, using the Sefer ha-Chinuch as a primary text. These shiurim are shared via conference call on Tuesdays at 12:30 PM (800-747-5150, access 1259096#).]
