Description

The signs that Hashem gave Moshe at the Sneh (snake, tzaraat, blood) were originally given for him to prove his "bona fides" to the elders of the people - subsequently, Hashem instructed him to show these signs to Pharaoh. Of these three signs, Moshe showed the "stick/reptile" as well as "water/blood" (the first "plague") - but the 2nd sign - tzaraat - wasn't shown to Pharaoh. We investigate the Biblical record of Tzaraat and suggest why it would have been inappropriate for him to show to Pharaoh.
