Why did Yehudah not accuse Joseph of conspiring against them? He should have said that Joseph placed their money back in their sacks and also placed his goblet in Binyomin’s sack. I would suggest that b Yehudah believed that all the false accusations made by Joseph were ordained by Hashem as a fitting punishment for selling him to the Egyptians. However, Joseph’s false accusations were causing unwarranted harm to Yaacov and Yehudah was prepared to accept any punishment to save his father from further aggravation.
