Parsha & Hashkafa for Vayishlach: How did שרו של עשו prove that Yaakov was a human being?; the 'sin' of marrying two sisters. We will study two approaches to the question of how Yaakov could marry two sisters, that of the Chatam Sofer, and that of Rav Shimshon Ostropoli. The Chatam Sofer suggests a brilliant Chiddush to explain why Yaakov was judged under two categories, 'day' and 'night' and was punished for 72 minites.
