Description

Yehoshua was the servant to Moshe. He made himself into an empty vessel to receive the light from Moshe like a sponge. Moshe had many talmidim, but Yehoshua was his only servant/'meshareis'. Yehoshua established the way to be a Jew for eternity- to nullify yourself to Hashem and receive his light like a sponge. Therefore yiddishkeit/Torah She'Baal'Peh had to begin with Yehoshua, a servant.
