Description

Parsha & Halacha for Re'eh: the mitzva of Ma'aser Kesafim. What is the source for this Mitzva? Is it DeOraisa or DeRabanan, or possibly merely a Minhag? What would be the practical difference between these definitions? How does one decide what sum is obligated in Maaser? Can he deduct all expenses in order to determine the sum, i.e. his profits? What about inheritance estates or gifts? These and other issues will be addressed.
