Parsah & Hashkafa for Pinchas: Pinchas & Rliyahu, measure for measure: the reward of becoming the מבשר הגאולה. Pinchas destroys the letter מ of the word מות which is the manifestation of the essence of the מלאך המות and thus saves Klal Yisrael from destruction.
