Description

(1) This shiur, the third in a Beth Abraham series "The Shabbas Table", was hosted by the Ferber family לעי"נ Yosef Yoel ben Chaim, Chaim ben Yechiel and Bluma bas Yosef. (2) The shiur opens with 7.5 minutes of machshava of Shabbas and particularly of bishul be-Shabbas, followed by 2 minutes on asking she'elos. (3) In subsequent conversation with Rav Neuburger, he shared that while (as quoted in this shiur) he would not allow placing cold food to warm directly on a non-adjustable plata, he would permit placing an inverted pan on the plata and warming the food atop that pan.
