We will present many different answers to the question: why Rut on Shavuot. Is this a מנהג? Where can we find its early sources? Should we recite a ברכת המצוה? A שהחיינו? What are the views and what is the debate about? Why is the Megilla read before קריאת התורה, whereas Esther is read after the קריאה? Is a woman obligated? Is the obligation on the ציבור or on the יחיד? These and other questions will be addressed.
