Description

What are the roots of the principle of confidentiality in general, and in the practice of law specifically - within the rules of Canada and Ontario, and within Jewish law? What are the exceptions to the principle? May one share information in order to save someone from financial harm, or in order to protect one's self? What happens when halachah and the Law Society are in conflict regarding disclosure? (Somewhat more sophisticated than the class recorded in January 2014.)
