Description

Is [what's better known as] "Chazarat Hashatz" the CHAZZAN'S REPITION, or is it the COMMUNAL PRAYER? Is it the Chazzan simply repeating the Amida on behalf of those that can't daven on their own, or is it an offering of a COMMUNAL prayer of us all, with the Chazzan being our "spokesman?" A ramification is: can I text/email/learn during that "REPITION?"
