Description

There are numerous overt themes which course through Sefer Beresheet - the selection of Avraham and his progeny, the selection of Eretz Canaan, and so forth. There are also subtle themes which operate as thematic refrains - such as poetic justice - throughout. There are also subtextual stories going on "in the background" which may inform much of the narrative if we pay attention to them. This shiur proposes one such subtextual story which can be discerned "Between the Lines" of Sefer Beresheet
