Description

Moshe Rabbenu uses the word "Hayom" over 70 times in his farewell speech. Although many of these occurrences are understood in situ, quite a few of them could be misleading and imply that the mores and rules that he is explicating are temporal. An investigation into the motivation of Moshe in this farewell speech is used to explain the power of this rhetorical flair - "Hayom"
