Our three themes for Parshas Ekev are: Misusing the Middah of compassion; the uniqueness of the Land of Israel; the love of Hashem for & His special relationship with the People of Israel. Based on the Ramban, the Or HaChaim, and the Maharal, we will comprehend the danger of inappropriate compassion, the infinite & eternal love of HaShem for the People of Israel, a love which is unconditional. We will appreciate the unique nature of the Land of Israel.
