Description

This is a Hashkafa shiur for Parshas Balak largely based on the insights of with the Ari za"l and his students. The framework of the shiur is a particular answer to the question: why Balak was sure he could defeat the Jewish Nation? This will lead to a study of the concepts of קליפה and ניצוץ של קדושה. The latter - in the case of Moav - is Dovid HaMelech and Melech HaMashiach who would be born to Ruth HaMoaviah a descendant of Balak Melech Moav.
