This “FMT” (Five Minute Torah) is part of a series of short Divrei Torah that are sent out each day via whatsapp. (https://goo.gl/HGE5qu...... B”H 2 groups are already full; this is the third group!) The goal of the FMT is to provide a brief, 5-minute summary of - and D’var Torah on - that day’s Aliyah: on Sunday, the first day of the week, on the first Aliyah; on Monday, the second day of the week, on the second Aliyah; and so on…. On Friday two posts are sent bli neder. (All of this is bli neder of course!) This group is not intended to take the place of regular, deeper, in-depth, textual learning. But we all know that sometimes our daily schedules do not always allow for that.
