Description

We continue to study of Yehoshua's fascinating journey through Chumash that we began in Parshat Behaalotcha. We first examine how much of a role Yehoshua actually played in the story of Chet HaMeraglim. We then turn our attention to Parshat Pinchas where he is chosen to lead the Jewish people after Moshe's inevitable passing. We explore the unusual position of being an individual in Chumash who only comes to fully shine in Neviim and what that means for Yehoshua, and his mentor Moshe, over the course of his journey through Chumash. (Part of HaMidrasha at QC, OU-JLIC's Torah learning program for women at Queens College)
