Description

Towards the end of the Parsha, the Torah writes ""ki haadam eitz hasadeh," "mankind is like the tree of the field." To understand the deeper meaning of this verse, we take a critical look at what the essence of fruit trees are by exploring the fascinating and often overlooked holiday of Tu B'Shvat. We unearth the surprising parallels between the yearly cycle of the tree and the life of a human being which lead us to strive to live life like a tree.
