For Masechet Bava Kamma 60a-b we will study the Mishna and continue the sugya of אש. The fire destroyed objects in an unusual way singing stones & scorching a field. Why did the Torah present a list of four types of objects that were damaged by fire? The sugya establishes that these are not objects but categories, each teaching a Halacha in the Mazik of אש. We will attempt to understand the Aggadeta of Divine punishment meted out to Tzaddikim & the power of the angel of death once given the green light to take the lives of both the guilty & the innocent.
