Description

Our study today splits into Halacha & Aggadeta. We begin and end with Halacha: what is the status of non-Jews and Kusim in Nezikin? Do we pay if we damage them? Do they pay full compensation - even in the case of a שור תם before 3x? For Agadah we will study the style of ניחומי אבילים of the Babylonian Rabbis as opposed to the approach of Ula. This will lead to a discussion re: Moshe Rabenu's decision to wage war against Moav, and the command of Hashem enjoining Moshe from doing so. Why was Hashem compassionate re: Amon & Moav?
