For our study of Parshas Toldos, we will analyze Rashi, Rashbam & Ramban on the description of Avraham as one who is dedicated to the Mitzvos and Torah study way before Matan Torah. Did Avraham observe these as an אינו מצווה ועושה i.e. as a voluntary fulfillment, or was Avraham obligated? We will see the very unique understanding of the Ramban that there is a difference between Mitzvos in the Land & Mitzvos outside of the Land.
