This Shiur explores the impact of the Avos (Avraham, Yitzchak, and Yaakov) on their descendants. The Shiur presents three ways in which the Avos may have influenced the Jewish people. Netziv and Rav Soloveitchik taught about our ability to learn from their actions. Maharal and others wrote about certain traits we inherited from the Avos. We conclude the Shiur with a discussion of Ramban’s view regarding “Ma’aseh Avos Siman L’Banim.” This Shiur is part of a series of Shiurim on the Ramban’s commentary on Chumash.
