Parsha:

Collections: Rabbi Weinberger: From Lublin To Izhbitz

Description

From R' Leibele Eiger in Toras Emes, Rebbe speaks out two different points in a piece on the parsha. 1)Hashem commanded us to build the mishkan right after the sin of the Golden Calf. It uses the word "pekudei" which we know means unnatural and from above brought down below. There is a Yezter Hara inside all of us telling us that Hashem is no longer with us after a sin because acc. to intellect he shouldn't be but Hashem reminds us to build a mishkan and that he is always with us. 2) There is one part of the mishkan that there is no lashon of commandment and that is the courtyard. This represents the beginning of a Jew's desire to get close to Hashem. It is our job to be in the courtyard and long for Hashem and know that Hashem desires us.
