Every shabbos is about shira but Beshalach is called Shabbos Shira bc of Az Yashir. With Tu B'Shvat coming up it is important for us to understand the song of E"Y and how it applies to us. There are two types of shira. The first is that of az yashir which is a reaction to something that breaks all laws of nature. This reaction can't be expressed by words, only by way of song. The other song is that or order and consistency. It is a song that comes when creation functions as it is supposed to abiding to all laws of nature.
