Description

What was the essential difficulty of Akeidas Yitzchok (the binding of Yitzchok)? We all undergo nisyonos (tests) constantly. At the time of a test, we lose clarity of the presence of Hashem. Avraham Avinu (Abraham) could not figure out why he was not receiving ruach hakodesh, (divine spirit). The simple people passed the test of the inquisition, not the philosophers. Why isn’t the greatness of Yitchok Avinu (Issac) mentioned in the story of the Akeida? Avraham Avinu was unclear about the true will of Hashem. Not to become depressed in the face of uncertainty.
