Description

Every Jew has a chelek (portion) in the Land of Israel. G-d became a stranger in this world when the nations of the world rejected the Torah. The world exists for the Jewish People. Like G-d, we are both toshavim (permanent citizens) and gerim (strangers in exile) in this world. When the non-Jews despise us, they remind us that we are beyond this world. The first time a nes (miracle) happens, the door becomes open for the same miracle to happen again. The root miracles of a body of water splitting and the complete destruction of our enemies happened at the Exodus from Egypt.
