Description

Based on Rav Tzvi Meir Zilberberg's Sichos Hischaskus Erev Shabbos Chazon 5759, P. 29. The eighth and last in a series about davening (praying) during the three weeks – what to think about, and how to improve our davening. The biggest eis ratzon (time of desire) - between Shiva Asur B’tamuz (the Fast of the Seventeenth of Tamuz) and Shmini Azeres. Each person’s emotions are triggered at different times and by different impetuses. The yetzer hora (evil inclination) convinces us that our generation is too weak for Moshiach (messiah). The need for a personal relationship with Hashem. Sending our kids to Eretz Yisroel in dangerous times. A generation that can not deal with challenges, and doesn’t know about mesiras nefesh (self sacrifice). The need to teach our children emuna (faith).
