Description

Based on Rav Tzvi Meir Zilberberg's Sichos Hischaskus Erev Shabbos Chazon 5759, P. 27. The seventh in a series about davening (praying) during the three weeks – what to think about, and how to improve our davening. Every tragedy is a result of the destruction of the Beis Hamikdash (Holy Temple). Our main job is to scream to Hashem. Difficulty in expressing ourselves causes many problems. We should tell Hashem about our difficulty in praying to Him. Every Jew who prays shmona esrei (eighteen brachos) accomplishes something. We will never know the effect of our prayer. Imagine, after we finished “barach aleinu” (bless us) a starving family informed us that they had food today because of us.
