Methodology of Psak Halacha - Case Studies (Yeshivat Har Etzion): This shiur explores the question of how the world view of Religious Zionism can affect the way one poskans, affecting the questions one deals with, the methods he uses, and the goals he attempts to attain. The test case used is the discussion about setting up police forces that operate on Shabbos. It focuses on R. Herzog and R. Yisraeli's psakim, as well as the practical solutions offered by Machon Tzomet. This was a pre-Yom HaAtzmaut shiur.
