5th shiur in 2nd semester of Jewish Center University Series, "Judaism & the Origins of Christianity." Also listed as a Pre-Pesach shiur. We review the history of how Christians dated the events up to and including Easter, and what this tells us about how and when contemporary Jews determined the date of Pesach. We explore the implications - past and present - of Christian attacks on Jewish attitudes in this respect, and the sensitivity of Chazal in responding to these attacks.
