Description

Part 3 of a multi-week internal shiur for avreichim and university students on the topic of "hefsed merubeh (great loss)", the principle of taking expense into consideration when making a halachic decision. This week: Weighing "great loss" in cases of multiple inexpensive items or multiple owners, and the question of whether a merchant whose item is permitted to him due to great loss is then permitted to sell it to others.
