Description
We will study the presentation of the Chazon Ish, according to which Moshe receives the Torah twice at Sinai, a third time at Ohel Moed, and a fourth at Arvot Moav. Only at the end of his life did Moshe commit the The Torah to Bichtav & Ba'al Peh. We will study the questions of Halacha that came up during the 40 years in the wilderness, questions which Moshe could not answer, as well as the human initiative in creating what would become the final form of the Torah, as in the Chanukat HaMizbei'ach in Parshat Naso & the request of the "temai'im le"nefesh adam" to bring the Pesach Sheini in Parshat Ba'haalotcha. Please note that in the next shiur, which is Part III in this series, we correct something that was said at the end of this shiur.
