We will begin our study of Parshat Chukat with the insight of Rav Yaakov Kamenetzky into the presentation of the Sefer HaChinuch on the mystery of the mitzvah of Para Aduma. We will establish the centrality of the concept of Chok & the message of faith inherent in this concept. What are "ta'amei haMitzvot" and why is it impossible to attempt to rationalize Para Aduma? Why was this mitzvah given before Har Sinai at Marah?
