Description

Is the Mishkan for man or for HaShem? The Ramban quotes the interpretation of the Ibn Ezra & derives from it the "secret" that the Mishkan is for the sake of Almighty God. But this position seems to negate the concept of God's perfection. It seems illogical to entertain the notion that God "needs" anything? Moreover the Ramban states elsewhere that everything is for man's benefit not for His. In this shiur we will try to understand the Ramban's concept of LeTzorech Gavoha to the best of our ability while admitting that the deeper meaning of this concept is esoteric & mystical and defy's our comprehension.
