Text study on Responsa Minchat Asher 4, looking at two teshuvot on the question of a social worker or mental health professional violating shabbat in order to arrive on time at the scene of a mass casualty event, terrorist attack, mass shooting, informing family of death etc. in order not to save lives, but to mitigate impacts of post traumatic stress disorder. Also looking at his teshuvah on a midwife or birth doula violating shabbat in order to assist with a child birth.
