As long as the putting on the HOT-WATER tap doesn't violate Yom Tov in other ways: 1) If the reason for not bathing your WHOLE body is that it's not שווה לכל נפש/not an EQUAL need for EVERYONE, this for sure changed today when people shower daily. 2) If the reason is גזירת הבלנים/lest we warm up water on Shabbat [which extends to Yom Tov], perhaps a LUKE-WARM shower would address this need 3) A cold shower, when needed, according to R' Moshe Feinstein, doesn't violate the Ashkenazic age-old Minhag to not bathe oneself [even] in cold water 4) Water coming from a דוד שמש would perhaps be allowed in all circumstances
