Description

This shiur connects Parshas Shemos and the Halachik criteria to be mashiach. Specifically, Moshe Rabeinu did not know if the people would believe that he was legitimate. Similarly, the Rambam has a clear set of requirements that would prove whether or not a particular individual is the true mashiach. Throughout Jewish history, there have been many false Messiahs, and this shiur discusses the gemara about Rebbi Akiva and Bar Kochva as well as similar stories.
