In this Shiur, we outline some of the issues relevant to understanding whether AI can funtion as a Posek, including the differences between different types of Halakhic rulings, the subjectivity inherent in Psak Halakha, and the human element in Psak. We also briefly touch on some precedents to this question, noting how contemporary AI is different from previous iterations of computer-based Halakhic rulings.
