The long-standing custom of Am Yisrael is to enhance the rejoicing at a wedding by adding a special Zimun - the poem, written by Dunash b. Labrat, which starts with דוי הסר (it is a colophon acrostic, spelling out his name with each line). Over the centuries, personalized poems have been composed for specific weddings, to honor the חתו וכלה, their families, friends and teachers. With the help of my colleagues, Prof. Avi Shmidman, here is a רשות for the ברכת המזון at the upcoming wedding of Yoni Broth and Ariella Etshalom.
