Description

Class #10 of a series on Sefer Tehillim. In this class, we examine chapter 30 of Tehillim, a Mizmor recited at the end of Tefillah on Chanukah. We study the emotional experience of the persona of the chapter, the inversions that characterize his experience, and his ultimate vision for humankind. In addition, we consider the relationship between this Mizmor and the "Inauguration of the House," mentioned in the heading, as well as the liturgical significance of the Mizmor as recited on Chanukah.
