Description

This shiur discussed the background to the prohibition of Kol Isha, and whether there are leniences when it comes to non-live music (such as on the radio), singing zemirot together at the Shabbat table, and if there is a need to walk out of a IDF ceremony where a woman sings. This shiur was delivered to Australian and South African talmidim in Yeshivat Har Etzion.
