In this Shiur, we examine Jewish perspectives on intelligent, extraterrestrial life. We note that religious people tend to be more skeptical of its existence, a trend which has been found in modern Jewish voices but was much less prevalent in the medieval period. Following an analysis from Rabbi Lamm, we also note what might change in our self-conception if alien life was found to exist.
