Description

King Chizkiyahu is described as the greatest king of the Davidic Line. His legacy is one of national revival, in both the spiritual and material. Ultimately however, Chizkiyahu fails to follow through to complete redemption. The king's shortcomings are expressed in the pathologies of his two sons: his first born Ravshakeh, who defects to Assyria, and Manashe, who succeeds him as ruler and undermines nearly all of his father's accomplishments. Exploring the tragic life of Chizkiyahu HaMelech, through the lens of Chodesh Nissan and the super natural state of being, which is both the burden and privilege of Klal Yisrael.
