Description

After the Jewish people are told they are destined to perish in the desert, one group proclaims the desire to repair the sin and attempts to enter the land of Israel. Despite Moshe's warnings they persist and are killed by Amalek and Canaan. How should we look at this attempt? Were they doing Teshuvah? Why wasn't it accepted?
