This shiur presents three approaches from the Rishonim regarding if Shabbas is Hutra or Dichuya, with some applications. Rashba holds its dichuya. Tashbatz holds its hutra. Even the Tashbatz holds that only Shabbos is hutra but agrees that other esssuirm are dichuya. Rambam holds that the day of Shabbos is dichuya but the melochot of Shabbos are hutra. The shiur then analyzes if Yom Kippur is like Shabbos or other essurim.
