Parsha & Halacha for Teruma: is there an independent Mitzva to build the ארון? For some reason the Rambam omits this Mitzva in his Sefer HaMitzvot and the Ramban cannot justify this omission. After all the Rambam does count the mitzva of carying the Aron & the prohibition of removing the poles from the loops! The Minchat Chinuch is bothered by the fact that in the Rambam's Mishna Torah the Rambam omits the Halachik details and measurements that define the Aron. Why? We will address two other questions: why does the Torah repeat the Mitzva of placing the לוחות in the Aron? Why does Moshe attach the poles to the the ארון since Betzalel had already done so? Was it allowed to remove the poles? Why wasn't an ארון built during בית שני?
