In this Mussar Shmuze for Chag Shavuot we analyze the essence of Kabalas HaTorah, an obligation incumbent upon each of us annually. Why does the Tur connect this Holiday with Yitzchok Avinu? Why was Har Sinai created from a piece of stone plucked from Har HaMoriah? Why were the nations of the world approached to acept the Torah since they had already ben given their 7 mitzvot? Why must we eat a Seudah on this day? Why does R' Yosef attribute his unique status - different from others with the same name - to this day? Why is the word חטא omitted from the Parsha of the שעיר brought on Shavuot? We will study the insights of the Beis HaLevi on the question of Kabbalas HaTorah. We will learn about עקידת יצחק from the perspective of the Ketzos.
