In this shiur for Parshas Haazinu we seek to establish a connection between the parsha and Yom Kippur which falls in the week of Haazinu. We will study a Yalkut which reveals that the opening words of the Kohen Gadol in his Viduy, "Ana Hashem", have an inherent power which was granted to the Kohanim Gedolim throughout history as a gift that was Divinely granted to the descendants of Yosef & his brothers. We will work hard to understand the connection between the use of the word "Ana" by the brothers (following the death of Yaakov) and the 'Ana" of the Kohen Gadol. this will lead to an appreciation of the perfect & precise nature of Divine judgement. The latter is formulated clearly in our Parsha, קל אמונה ואין עול, etc.
