This is a Hashkafa shiur for the Three Weeks entitled, the third Beis HaMikdash, who will build it & when? Our goal is to study four approaches to reconcile the apparent contradiction between the sources. Many sources indicate that the 3rd Mikdash will be built by the Almighty; others indicate that it will be a human initiative, man is obligated to build the Mikdash. We will see the approach of the Maharam Shick as well as that of the Aruch LaNer, and two other presentations of the contemporary writers.
